Pro-X Overview

Who We Are

Boy Scout Troop 490 is based out of Baton Rouge, LA.   We are proud to have been around for almost 50 years and appreciate your efforts to keep us strong.   We believe that a part of developing Leadership and Self-confident skills is based on one's ability to effectively communicate and have business interactions with other folks.   Our Fundraising projects definitely help our youngsters with this by going out to our community and asking our neighbors and local businesses if they would like to assist.  In addition, we  also learn how to set up mutual Fundraising efforts to assist those in our community as well.   For this, we appreciate your support!

We have a few ways of Fundraising.


1)  See below for our Current/ specific  project.  That can vary during the year and will have a short time frame to participate.  


2)  General Boy Scout items that you can customize for YOUR Troop.  This option is available at any time of the year.


3) Our Community Sharing Projects.  We also work to help Other Individuals or Organizations that can use and appreciate your help.   Look below at those options that are also available during any time of the year.
